Well done Woodie & the Lads!!

What a cracker of a game on Tuesday night, it was my first visit to Nostel football club, their facilities were second to non maybe because of the amount of people that use them ie football, rugby and bowls.
From the kick-off we dominated the play and after only 3 minutes we were 1-0 up with a goal from Dave Thompson, this seemed to send our lads up another gear their passing was great if not a little bit over zealous when time & time again young Cloughy was caught off side. then on 22 mins totaly against the role of play Nostel equalised with a goal from Colquhoun. This was only a mere blip on the game as on 28mins a goal from Gaz Hepples again gave us the lead. This seemed to spur the Nostell team and there was a good spell of football from both teams for about 10-12 mins with both teams having chances to score but the shots were either off target or the keepers stopped them scoring, however on 42mins Chaz Wrigley put us 3-1 ahead and it stayed that way to half time.
That was a Cracker of a first half and could the second half be just as good??
The second half was just as entertaining both sides playing some good football, Nostell were getting a little bit rattled and their play started to go to pot while our play was confident and well organised with chances galore but we were unable to finish young Darren having a frustrated time with offsides galore or the keeper stopping his shots, the game overall was a belter and a 3-1 result, we'll take that thank you. Well played lads and well done Woodie keep up the good work.
