After Alasdair's prompting. Really looking forward to this afternoon to see how we shape-up against one of the better if not the best team in the league. It will be interesting to see how Joe Connor plays against us. Will he have the time for the turns etc against our more "busy" midfielders.
The promising thing about the cup win on Weds (which should have been more comfortable than the score suggests - only needed one more goal to possibly open the floodgates) was the presence of 4 U19 players - Burns full 90, Johnson 60+, Thackwray played 60 mins as sub(certainly not overawed, looked very promising )and Lambert 15 or so mins. All looked well capable against some physical players. Also no Clough or Greening also U19. Looks good for the future.
